Tonights post comes from a Messiah lacrosse alum and 2010 grad, Morgan Kupfer. A self-proclaimed fisherman and author of a blog that nobody reads, Morgan dropped a line to let us all in on what hes been up to and his best guess as to what his graduating classmates have been doing this past year.
Enjoy the nonsense and 3rd grade reading level after the jump.
It’s been 11 months since I stepped onto the Messiah lax sponge to play as a current Falcon and 6 since I was on the same field as an alumnus in the Homecoming game (that I tore my ACL in, I'm such a NARP). There aren't many days that go by that I miss the team and the fulfillment you feel when you Pete Weimer. I especially miss it since I don't get fresh new kicks and the ability to sport one of the new Nike sweaters. I'll give you a quick update on my life as an alumnus and then follow it up with what I know or imagine the rest of the class of 2010 to be currently doing...
So first of all, other than getting hitched, the real world kinda sucks. That’s why I decided to go back to school, I just feel comfortable in the classroom for now… I also pulled a Mulhaul (quick update on him, he’s hunting down Gaddafi, all I’m allowed to say), and became a volunteer Firefighter/EMT. I got my Maryland state Emergency Medical Technicians Certification this past Fall and have been riding on the ambulance a good amount running 911 calls, crazy stuff, enough said. After I passed the EMT-B test and became certified, I decided I really enjoyed what I was doing and since I got my Bachelors in Biopsychology and wanted to go in to healthcare, this was totally ideal for me. Being in the firehouse reminds me a lot of being on the team as far as the constant ruses, the brothership (Latimer circa 2009), family-like meals, and bunk rooms. I got into the Paramedic program at the local community college (so much cheaper than Messiah), and will be done that in May 2012.
Quick lesson on the levels of Emergency Medical Services (EMS); 1st level = First Responder, 2nd level = EMT-Basic (me for now), 3rd level = EMT-Intermediate (can do some advanced life support stuff), and 4th = EMT-Paramedic (is advanced life support). I know, boring, but a lot of people ask exactly what it is I’m doing and this covers quite a few of you who haven’t asked yet.
Anywho, other than classes, working, and being at the firehouse, I still have the occasional weekend to rage, fish, and will hopefully be able to come visit my boys in Grantham soon for lax lax lax. I’m 90% sure I’ll be at the Eastern game 4/9 7:00p on Anderson if I’m not mistaken to watch the Falcons drop a giant bird dookie on the Eagles.
Here we go.

Brent is working for some company selling and/or repairing fitness equipment, who would have guessed…and has a girlfriend according to Facebook…
Feltner’s life hasn’t changed much; he’s still working for the same company that pays him to Facebook stalk all day. Word of the Day: Feltbook, ask Kenny about that one…fun game.
Kenny aka Kenbone aka Long-Arms-Leg-Slayer Allen aka Kenny Allen Wrench aka Beaker aka etc. is in grad school in Chitown at Trinity College for Bioethics…he is also volunteering at local clinic helping out people who need healthcare…and is still trying to get into med school.

Windon is still traveling the world with a stick over his shoulder and a bandanna full of ice cream tied to it…classic. He will also potentially be attending Pitt for grad school next year.
Connally is still trying to stand up on a surfboard and is in sales administrative support at Mitchell International.
Murdock still lifts with the colonel every day and is a financial professional at AXA Advisors.

I think that’s about it… so yea, to-da-loo BOO3 Room, till next time.
Thanks Morgan, much appreciated. we love and miss you.
