Whats up B003 followers.  Just wanted to drop you all a line and update you on the future of the B003 Blog.  As of right now I have two maybe three more posts that I want to put up though I cant promise for sure days that they will be posted, hopefully I can get one up this week.  On top of that I also have the last two WV videos to put together and post... those may take longer. So tuck the B003 Room away into your bookmarks, check back every once and a while, show it to the freshmen that come in next year.  I've heard chatter of a new blog blog next year, maybe the B003 can come back and write a guest post or two.  If you didn't graduate, have fun running the mile in the fall!

SPREAD THE WORD: MC Lacrosse Tournament of Bad

A brain child of Kenny Allen, the MC Lax Tourny of Bad.  I let the words of Ken-bone himself run you through the process:

OK, so here's the deal, 

This sports talk radio show that I listen to during work (Zach, the Boers and Bernstein Show) does this thing called the Tournament of Bad. Basically, they come up with all the "bad" things that have occurred in the last year (most of them are funny) and make a tournament that coincides with the NCAA bball tourney. They determine who advances by listeners either texting their votes or voting online.
I was thinking it would be funny if we did a MC Lax version of this. I thought of it too late to have it match up with March madness, so we could either just do it whenever because it will be funny, or wait and do it along with the NCAA lax tournament. I already got the green light from Phil to use The B003 Room as a medium for this and I'm figuring we can do like a round a week and people can vote in the comments section of the blog for the team they want to advance.
So, what do I need from you bros? I need ideas for "teams" to include in the tournament. I'm thinking we can do 64 teams because so much "bad" stuff has happened over the last 4 or 5 years.

Ok, so we've already got the 4 bracket titles and 64+ "teams."

Its going to work a little differently than what Ken had envisioned, as we're going to give you 4 pools of "teams" and for each pool you vote for the top 4 that you like.  The 2 "teams"/events/people receiving the most votes in each pool will move on to a bracket tournament. 

Spread the word and check back tomorrow morning for the "Lacrosse" pool. Theres some pretty ridiculously stupid things waiting.

MD and RA

Haha. So Hayden and Sean had a presentation due on the day of one of our games... so their prof had them film it for the class to watch.  I let Sean borrow my camera to film it and I never figured I would even look at it.  But after a few days I went through my videos to delete the ones they took, but before I did, I decided to just check them out.  Aha man I'm glad I did.  I don't know whats worse, Sean stumbling over his words, or Hayden's awkward body movements.

Hurricane Grantham

Nichols Playing With His Pickles

Ever since playing LVC last year, poor Andrew Nichols has never been the same.  He no longer functions like a normal college student, but has digressed into an alternate reality, believing he is a two year old and that the guys on the team are characters from the childhood show Rug-Rats. Early Sunday night the lacrosse team's very own Alex Wissler had a crowd of fellow students hanging on his every word with his Coffee House medley. If it wasn't his smooth voice that had the ladies weak at the knees, it must have been his tight pants.

With LVC coming into Grantham tomorrow night for a 7 o'clock match up, we wanted to go back to last year when Nichols got WELCOMED TO COLLEGE by LVC's goalie.

Sorry for the no post Sunday, I found myself buried in homework and post college life planning in the Library all day. Literally all day.... but i did fart one time with my head phones on... though I was too scared to look around and see if anyone heard.

Misericordia and Patty Mayonnaise

What does Misericodia U. and Patty Mayonnaise have in common?
Both had Zach soaking wet on Saturday afternoon.

Misericodia because it was poring out, Patty because... well if you know about Zach and Patty, at Misericordia sophomore year we all learned about his strange childhood fascination with her.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, then just don't worry about it.

Anyway, if you haven't seen, we won 21-4 led by Kevan's 7 goals, Baden's 5, and Keiper's 1.

Car Crash

For anyone who no longer lives here at Messiah or for those who still haven't heard, our superlative for who is most likely to get in a car accident came true Thursday night:

Apparently coach crashed his car into Furm's car in TT lot.

NHL Playoffs

The NHL playoffs kicked off on Wednesday night, and with three B003 Roomies being hockey fans, It's kind of important. Well Petters is once the playoffs start, and I'm sure if the Caps make it to the Cup Rod will claim to be cheering for them all along... Anyway, I digress; the other day i stumbled upon (not stumbleupon'ed) a Sports Pickle link about NHL playoff teams I thought I'd share.  Also, if you follow the NBA, this one is pretty funny too.

Coach On Coach Action

A big win for the team early last night as coach stepped up to the plate (or table) and took down H. Greer, the womans coach in a game of ping pong up on Orchard Hill.  Despite coaches poor warm up performance (all a part of the plan) making her think he was a ping pong slouch, he hustled her to sweep the best of three series.
